Cleaning candle vessel hack ⬇️

Mix baking soda and water into a paste (note: you need very little water so start small)
Place paste on the black spot and let it rest for a little while - I typically walk away and revisit within 20minutes to an hour later and scrub off the paste with a dish towel and the black stain is gone! ✨

Save for next time you need to clean a stubborn stain off glass container!

I love how much my daughter loves opening boxes with me. She always shares my excitement and surprise when things are bigger or more beautiful than I expected. She also appreciates the opportunity to play with bubble wrap. 🤣

✨ I learned something new!! 👇

I had a vision to make sweater weather candles this fall with wool koozies… the problem? I had no idea how to crochet.

A trip to the craft store and many YouTube videos on repeat & I finally conquered a basic crochet creation to fulfill my vision.

Although it was nearly impossible to find times where both of my hands were free and I could rest (as a busy mama of two)… I found that I craved the time to slow down and crochet. It allowed space for me to channel creative productivity while also resting my mind and body.

Disclaimer!! These koozies are far from perfect - but isn’t that what makes things beautiful ? They are made by imperfect hands and not a machine. To me, they have an organic shape and symbolize rest and the joy of learning.

As we settle into a new season of fall and winter… I hope you can find the time to learn something new and to discover another way to rest amongst chaotic seasons of life.
