Throughout our history at CDG, our approach to workplace design has continued to evolve; especially in how we explore and communicate ideas during the conceptual phase. While the tools and technologies have advanced, the intent has remained the same: to clearly convey design visions using graphic visualization strategies.

From hand sketches to realistic three-dimensional renderings, these tools remain essential to the process, helping us communicate ideas with clarity and allowing clients to fully engage with a space long before it’s built. 🙌🏻

Davis Hall was our latest dorm renovation completed at Carleton College! The first floor of this dormitory was converted back into student housing from its previous life as the Student Health and Counseling center. The character of the building was preserved with added design features to enhance school pride!

Throughout our 25-year anniversary celebration, we’re dedicating each month to a different market sector, sharing projects that reflect the breadth of our experience. As February rolls to an end, we’re closing out our Public Sector month by highlighting a project type that has been a consistent part of our portfolio — fire stations. 🚒

WE’RE CELEBRATING 25 YEARS! 🎉

Back in January 2001, seven driven professionals came together to form Collaborative Design Group, Inc. Fast forward 25 years, and CDG has grown into a trusted name across a wide range of market sectors in design, architecture, and structural engineering. We’re proud of how far we’ve come and grateful to still be a strong presence in the building industry. Most importantly, we are grateful for the long-lasting relationships that we have built over the years with our valued clients and community members.

To celebrate our 25th anniversary, we’re dedicating the entire year to highlighting the many market sectors and communities we serve, and showcasing the projects that have shaped CDG over the past two and a half decades.
