Pictures from a recent project in Bloomington. There was significant pet and water damage discovered after we removed the carpet. A stain was applied to help hide what the sanding could not remove.We also patched in areas where walls were removed and plywood areas needed replacing. In the end it was quite the upgrade!

Recent project in Excelsior on Lake Minnetonka. Removal of all carpet and replacement with all new hickory installation, sand, stain and finish of the entire upper level plus 4 sets of stairs.

Recent project in a beautiful Eagan townhouse. Homeowners were looking to extend the hardwood into the living room. They also didn't like the look of the shiny factory finished brazilian floor. Removing baked on aluminum oxide finish and bevels out of those boards has its challenges, but Earl's has the experience and equipment to take it on. The two areas blended together nicely with a little stain color added and smooth satin finish.

Recent project in South Minneapolis. Tired old staircase needed a refresh. Replaced ugly old spindles with a classic mission style look. Installed white painted risers and refinished the treads.

Engineered red oak install in the beautiful White Oaks neighborhood in Edina. Dramatic change to a previously carpeted basement.

Recent install and finish project in Plymouth. Homeowner wanted to update their living room area, while also eliminating the traditional heavy and ambered oil poly look. Instead of connecting the whole floor via a weave or tooth in of new to old, we presented the walnut inlay option. Significantly less cost overall and gives the floor a new distinct appearance. Included a border around the fireplace to tie it all together. The bright new finish offers a fresh contemporary look.

Earl's specializes in real wood floors. Vinyl floors are cheaper and easier to install, but there are many reasons to avoid it.

As a follow-up to my article about “What I’ve Learned as an Inspector for ‘Luxury Vinyl’ Flooring”, I would like everyone to know about a report that was done about this same flooring.
