In this Scottsdale retreat designed by our Minneapolis interior design studio, the interiors were intentionally pared back. A soft, neutral palette, tactile materials, and carefully edited furnishings create a sense of calm that draws your attention outward to the desert, the light, and the stillness beyond.

Before:
Clean, bright… and a little cold. Large-format tile and crisp whites gave this bathroom a modern foundation, but the space felt flat and impersonal—more functional than inviting.

After:
Warmth transforms everything. By layering in rich texture—stone-inspired surfaces, wood tones underfoot, and subtle variation in the shower—we kept the modern lines but added depth and soul. The result is a space that still feels fresh and current, yet finally lives the way it should: calm, welcoming, and effortlessly luxurious.
