Some common repairs and some uncommon issues too. These are situations I walk in to every day. I personally don’t love to fix other people’s quality poor work but unfortunately it is a big part of what I do. This diagram was for a 21,000 sq/ft Hispanic Resource Center in South Minneapolis that I measured, estimated, brokered, site planned and built the take off for (and changed about 25 times!) LOL... We were eventually awarded the sale of all the spec’d materials (that we some how pulled off a series of small miracles to procure from various new vendors we were not currently enrolled with!) We were also awarded the demo and installation of all the different types of flooring going in to the building! This diagram was actually the final cut of the 8 or 9 variations they fooled around with and I would have to adjust each one to suit. I was trained to use a very high tech measure/ blue print/ design program called RFMS that made each change and indecision a breeze to plug in or swap out any of the surfaces they were deciding on. That program has totally changed the way I do large commercial estimates! This bid was ultimately built to split between the insurance company that was covering the portion of the cost from the damaged portions of the building caused by the building next door falling on, and destroying this building during a controlled demolition failure!!! Pretty crazy deal! Thank god it was attempted in the middle of the night so they could shut down Lake St. while they did it, and nobody was in this building working! They would have been flattened. The building owner covered the rest of the building to get it all done at the same time. With the RFMS Program it only took me an extra few minutes to literally split the areas exactly where they needed to be for the payment agreement.

A little tour of a big hallway runner I did a while ago. It was 38’-40’ total length. Everything lined up perfectly other than 1 smaller wall. I give it a 98/100! 🥈🥇🎯

A little tour of this huge custom cut hallway I did a while back! Everything lined up perfect with a little persuasion, except about a 1/2” on one small wall. So a 98 out of 100 I suppose.
