I have been drooling over this pallete for a new private club coming to St. Paul next year. We’re hoping to bring a modern, feminine touch to a historically “men only” atmosphere, while still keeping some of that traditional club feel. The historic building has beautiful bones that we plan to incorporate into this palette as well. Read below to see where we derived our palette and concept!

•Historic Hockey, A Weathered Heritage Reimagined•

“Inspiration for the club is drawn from Minnesota hockey, combining the Wild’s deep, natural color palette of green, burgundy, and mustard with visual references to skating and the ice rink. Glassy, reflective surfaces contrast with skate marks, worn leather textures, and industrial materials, creating a balance between refined sleekness and weathered character. The result is a space that feels comfortable, authentic, and up-scale, rooted in the history and grit of hockey.”

Construction documents have been sent out for this mid century kitchen renovation and we’ll be seeing construction starting soon, hopefully wrapping for the clients to enjoy the holidays in their new kitchen! 😊

The client came to us saying “the dream was a double wall oven, but I don’t think we have enough space for that”. And that, my friends, is why you hire an interior designer 😎

While we didn’t change the square footage of the space, we did find a cleaver way to fit a double wall oven, induction cooktop, and gorgeous views out their back yard while working at the sink. Cheers to dreams being realized! 🥂

Hardware, appliances, countertops, oh my!

The concept behind this house was a blending of worlds, the New Mexican dessert and “copper country” of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. While the project is located in the UP, the clients spent their grad school years in Albuquerque, falling in love with the turquoise colors and geometric designs of the area. I love how this stained white oak turned out and the copper hardware really pops against the vibrant grain. Soon to come: a patina’ed copper backsplash!

Just got back from the most wonderful family vacation this past week. It was so needed - life has handed us a few challenges lately and it was so life-giving to connect as a family and remember what matters most🥰

We absolutely loved Savannah and Hilton Head Island and all the beautiful nature and architecture. I can’t wait to return some day :)
