Jodi is the owner and principal designer of Jodi Gillespie Interior Design, a full-service design resource based in the Minneapolis/St Paul metro area. Jodi has more than 20 years experience in commercial and residential design, including 11 years at MSR Design, where as Associate and Residential Specialist she collaborated daily with architects on executive offices, corporate conference centers,
private residences, and other large-scale projects in Minnesota, Illinois, Texas, Florida, and other locales. Passionate about designing interior spaces with relation to the architectural and user context Jodi especially enjoys collaborating with clients, architects, contractors, artisans, and craftspeople on adaptive reuse, new construction and renovation projects. As a design liaison between the built environment and the individuals who live and work in it, she takes great pride in designing timeless, classic interior spaces that reflect the beauty and integrity of the architectural source. Jodi’s work has been honored with numerous awards, including the 2014 National ASID Elevate-Residential Award, four ASID MN Best in Show awards for residential and commercial spaces, the 2001 ASID MN Chapter/Midwest Home & Garden Magazine “Emerging Talent of the Year” award, the 2006 University of Minnesota /College of Human Ecology “Rising Star Award,” as well as other project design and organizational service awards. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, and an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Mankato State University.
