First try at a little mixed media canvas thanks to and the lessons from

It’s brighter then my usual color palette but it was a good branching out experiment.

This card started with a paper pack in these soft blue-green tones. I figured it was done to stop hoarding it 🤣. I had been wanting to use this beautiful bird stamp and these colors felt like the perfect fit.

To make the front panel softer and more cohesive, I transformed a white floral cardstock by blending Weathered Wood, Salvaged Patina, and a touch of Stormy Sky over it to take away the bright white and let the pattern become part of the design instead of competing with it.

Stepping outside my mixed media comfort zone and into repetition, structure, and restraint (which was honestly challenging 😂).
Gold embossed geometric elements layered over emerald with just enough sparkle to catch the light. Finished with a simple sentiment because this design really wanted room to breathe.

“Honey, I shrunk my Altenew” 🤣

Apparently I’m still emotionally attached to shrink plastic.
Stamped Altenew florals onto shrink plastic, colored them, die cut them, and shrank them into tiny embellishments for mini layered tags. Another way for Altenew to live in my art journal 😊.

A quiet little corner of vintage comfort.
This is the kind of room that feels like it holds stories. I had so much fun watching all the pieces of this card come together.

Building a handmade library of tiny art pieces, techniques, textures, and experiments.

These fodder dex cards are my take on the November Fodder School lessons — designed to live inside a handmade art Rolodex full of inspiration and future possibilities.

Messy table. Ink-stained fingers. Worth it.
These alcohol ink greeting cards are my version of Cheiron Brandon’s Fodder School 5 challenge, and I’m honestly loving this warm earthy palette of the striped cards — a big shift from the cool tones I usually reach for.

A little beauty, a little edge… new greeting card design.
Stamped and colored focal, embossed background, and finished with a touch of gold foil accents. Very happy with the pops of pink and yellow on this one.

I’m beginning a mental health journal to work in as I go through trauma recovery. The ABC April challenge is the prompt inspiration so each one will feature a word beginning with the days letter. B is for Breathe - A quiet reminder to pause and come back to yourself.

Day 4 of Dephemerember - it’s hard to believe one week of prompts is already over! Today’s prompt was “Journaling card & tiny letters”.

Today some whimsical and bright papers got a makeover. I used a touch of white gesso stenciling and distress sprays, then I stamped tiny happy sayings across large “H”s as focal points to add to a few of the cards - because we all need happiness in our lives and so do do our journals.
