A little piece of Long Island, made in Minnesota! ❤️

Even though I've called Minnesota home for over 30 years, Long Island will always be a part of my story.

I recently created this layered wood map of Long Island for a charity auction, and it was such a big hit that I thought I'd share it with everyone else!

Made with seven layers of wood and finished in a walnut frame, it's a special way to celebrate a place that holds so many memories.

To all my Long Island friends and family, this one's especially for you!

I've now added the Long Island map to my website, and I'm also happy to create custom maps of other places that hold special meaning.

A little Game Fair action! 🐾💦
Loved watching these dogs do what they do best. So much fun seeing them hit the water and bring it back! 🦆

This year's garden has been so much fun! The squash is climbing the trellis, the tomatoes and cucumbers are producing like crazy, and I couldn't be happier with this garlic harvest.
There's something so satisfying about growing your own food.
Is anyone else enjoying a bumper crop this year? I'd love to hear what's growing in your garden! 🧄🍅🥒
