On 01/15/2026, the National Association of Women in Construction sponsored a seminar GREAT TEAMS/GREAT RESULTS featuring guest speaker Nick Ruehl, AIA. Excellent information was presented on building a successful team; trust, acknowledging strengths and weaknesses, working through conflict, earmarks of great leaders, measuring and achieving results. The seminar was hosted by VEIT with lunch provided by JE Dunn. Thank you to all who had a hand in this continuing ed opportunity. NAWIC - You Rock! On June 20th, 2025 Dorglass held a SAFETY DAY for all employees to emphasize our industry's commitment to safety awareness. The agenda included PPE/harness inspections, CPR 30:2 demonstrations, AWAIR review, Safety Guidebook rollout, and a prestigious visit from Inspector Gadget (Dorglass style) highlighting the effective use of shims! Yes, Shims; for leveling, alignment, and stability when installing and adjusting windows/doors.
Thank you to all involved including Penny L, Safety Director, TBG, Cintas, Wakey Wakey, Stretching with Emily/Pace Fitness, Assa Abloy Hardware, Dorglass Safety Committee, Department Managers, Shanitha, and Inspector Gadget (identity to remain concealed).
