3D sculpture wall art is one of those design elements that completely transforms a space ✨ The texture, depth, and movement it brings simply can’t be captured through a screen alone.

For this upcoming project, seeing these pieces in person was such an important part of the process — from the way the light hits each detail to the scale and dimensionality you can only truly experience up close. It’s a reminder that great design is meant to be felt, not just viewed.

Would you ever incorporate sculptural wall art into your home? 👀

A behind-the-scenes look at how we bring a design to life. ✨ Our design trays are where everything starts to come together—pulling real finish materials for furniture (fabric + stain), layering in rug options, curtain textiles, and even specialty elements like this glass for a shadow light box.

It’s all about seeing, touching, and refining every detail before anything is installed—because the magic is in how these pieces work together.

Designer test drive… but make it a team effort. ✨ We had multiple designers try out this oversized chair, and here’s the honest review:

Yes, it’s incredibly cozy and perfect to snuggle into—but it sits very low, which makes it harder to get out of (something to definitely keep in mind). Because of that deep seat, it’s not the best option if you’re looking for strong back support without really sinking in.

We also noticed the seat fabric started to wrinkle after just a short round of use—another detail that matters when thinking about long-term wear.

These are exactly the kinds of things we’re evaluating when sourcing furniture for our clients—comfort, function, and how a piece truly performs over time.

What matters most to you when choosing a chair—looks or comfort? 👇

Meet the Residential Design Team ✨

A week in the life of our purchasing & office manager and designer, Lori—keeping every detail (and every order!) running smoothly. From sourcing decor and artwork to placing furniture orders, measuring for wallpaper, testing comfort, pulling fabrics, and jumping in on installs… she’s making sure every piece lands exactly where it should.

It’s a mix of logistics, creativity, and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes magic ✨

Which part of Lori’s week surprised you most? 👇

A design review of a truly stunning piece. ✨ This burled wood desk is all about the details—from the rich, organic grain to the inlaid leather top that adds both texture and function. The reeded inset drawers bring subtle dimension, while the knurled gold hardware is the perfect finishing touch.

It’s the kind of piece that instantly elevates a space and feels just as special as it looks.

Save this for your dream office inspo or send it to someone who loves a statement piece 👀

Designed with intention at every scale, this recently completed project proves that smaller spaces can still make a dramatic impact. Our client envisioned a moody, sophisticated environment that not only felt elevated for everyday living, but could also function beautifully as a backdrop for photography and creative shoots. ✨

Furniture selections played a major role in bringing that vision to life. From the tailored upholstered bed and layered velvet textiles to the sculptural lounge seating and oversized tufted ottoman, every piece was selected to maximize comfort, texture, and visual depth without overwhelming the space. Rich charcoal tones, soft metallic accents, and plush fabrics create a refined atmosphere that feels both intimate and cinematic.

One of our favorite design details? The dramatic 15’ long drapery panels that surround the living space. Beyond adding softness, movement, and height to the room, they were intentionally incorporated to support the client’s photography work — allowing the fabric to be gathered and draped around subjects during shoots for a layered, editorial feel. The result is a home that feels equally functional, luxurious, and creatively inspiring. 🖤

Which detail would you steal for your own space — the dramatic drapery, the velvet furnishings, or the monochromatic palette?

Let’s talk faux florals and plants—because not all “fake” is created equal. 🌿✨ The key is choosing pieces with natural movement, realistic color variation, and stems that can actually be styled (no stiff, plastic vibes here).

When done right, silk flowers and faux greenery can elevate a space, add softness, and stay beautiful year-round—no maintenance required.

Are you team real plants or faux all the way? Cast your vote below 👇

Meet the Residential Design Team ✨

A week in the life of our principal designer, Jill—where every detail matters. From sourcing the perfect plumbing fixtures to prepping for photoshoots, testing furniture for real-life comfort, walking job sites, and making sure even the bedding feels just right… it’s all part of creating spaces that truly work for our clients.

It may look effortless, but there’s a lot happening behind the scene.👀

What part of the process would you want a closer look at?

Let’s talk swivel chairs—specifically memory swivel chairs. ✨ These are designed to rotate and then gently return to their original position, keeping your space looking polished (no chairs left turned in every direction after guests leave).

They’re perfect for living rooms and conversation areas where you want flexibility and a clean, pulled-together look. That said, some memory mechanisms can be a bit too strong—snapping back quickly instead of easing—so it’s definitely something to test and consider before you buy.

Function + form (with the right feel) = always a win.

Would you choose a memory swivel or a standard swivel chair? Tell me your pick below 👇

A little design review—with a side of game night. 🀄️✨ This mahjong table checks all the boxes: functional, stylish, and made for gathering. From the surface details to how it fits into the room, it’s proof that even game tables can elevate your space.

Because when design meets play… everyone wins.
