It’s been WAY too long, and now that we’re almost into February, an update post has been long overdue!
BUT!
This year is off to a STRONG start for Montana Candle Company!

Last year… well, it was crazy.
Especially Q4.
We moved out of our previous production facility in August, and the move took WAY longer than expected. Like MONTHS longer.
Once we were able to get things rolling again, retail production took a backseat to our white label and wholesale clients, which are now FINALLY nearly all caught up.
Add supplier challenges, price hikes, and hours of strategy meetings on top of that, and frankly we’re just glad to be here!

So! Here’s what we’re looking forward to in 2026!
- New product lines
- New scent collections
- New collaborations (stay tuned for a new brand launch announcement)
- Constant RESTOCKS (Rockin’ Rudy’s and Last Best Store coming this week!)

Yeah, we’ve been SUPER quiet on social.
Not for any good reason, other than we’ve just been completely SWAMPED!
But we’re in great shape, growing, and extremely excited about what our FIFTH YEAR has in store!

We have big news!
This has been in the works for quite a while, and we’re excited to announce that Montana Candle Company is moving!

There are a NUMBER of reasons for the move, but the big motivators are that this will allow us to work more efficiently, cutting our order fulfillment time down.
It’s also going to provide us with more production space, which is HUGE! We were crammed into our tiny midtown R&D/production space….

This is going to be quite a process though, and we’ve suspended production temporarily to accommodate. We’re also going to be turning off online ordering for the time being, but we’ll be sure to shout from the mountaintops as soon as we’re all set up in the new space!

The Last Best Store at the Southgate Mall and Rockin Rudy’s main store have the goods!

There’s SO MUCH happening at Montana Candle Company, and we’re excited to share it with you!

First, something we didn’t see coming that’s presently got us turning lemons into lemonade.
Due to a massive raw material shortage, our primary wax has been completely unavailable for the past couple months. As a result, we’re re-formulating our ENTIRE LINE of candles, and so far the results have been amazing!

We’re currently testing all of our amazing scents inspired by life in Montana in a natural coconut-soy wax AND a natural coconut-apricot cream wax!
And even though this move was forced, we’re so excited with the results and can’t wait to share them with you!

What this means for the time-being, is that we have very limited supplies of candles made with our previous natural soy wax, but we will update you as soon as new products are available!

ALSO, we’re going to start offering every candle in WICK-LESS versions, starting immediately! So if you’re a renter or student living in-campus and want to enjoy ANY of our fragrances without an open flame, you’ll have that option! We’re also going to adding a line of warmers to our website if you don’t already have one - and each warmer comes with a surprise FREE wick-less candle!

AND THERE’S MORE!
We’re currently in the formulation and testing process to develop non oil-based room/linen AND body sprays!
Stay tuned for more on that!
