The Ma**er C96 "Broomhandle" was produced by the German manufacturer of the same name from 1896 to 1937. The distinct shape of the gun, including the long barrel, integrated box magazine, and broom handle grip which gives it its nickname, have made it a highly popular item among fi***rm collectors. Despite being long out of production, the Ma**er has remained a staple in popular culture, appearing in numerous films and inspiring fictional weapons like Buck Rogers' atomic pistol and Han Solo's blaster.

Founded in 1972 by Dick Eipper, Quicksilver Aircraft is one of the leading manufacturers of ultralight aircraft in the US. Hang Gliding was all the rage in the '70's, and Quicksilver's first powered model, the Quicksilver C, was designed as a self-launching unit capable of taking off from flat areas. Quicksilver's manufacturing shut down in 2015, but you can still see one of their vintage hang gliders here at Axmen! Just look up, you can't miss it.
