It started with one Griz linebacker who simply wanted to help. ❤
Clay, a linebacker from Billings, reached out wanting to learn more about Ronald McDonald House Missoula. Before long, the excitement spread throughout the linebacker room, to their University of Montana advisor, Helen, and to Ronald McDonald House Missoula board member Jared Amoss, who works in Grizzly Athletics
They came to the House for lunch and a tour.
Then they came back.
For the past six weeks, these young men have shown up every Wednesday evening to play, laugh, listen and spend time with the children and families staying at the Ron Don.
They've become football buddies, swing pushers, game room champions, storytellers and trusted friends.
Now they're taking their commitment one step further.
The Griz Linebackers are raising funds to create more special Super Siblings moments and provide one meal each month for families staying at Ronald McDonald House Missoula through the end of the Griz football season.
Because sometimes the biggest difference isn't made on the football field. It's made by simply showing up.
If you'd like to stand alongside these incredible student-athletes, scan the QR code and help provide comfort, connection and care for families when they need it most. ❤
