Houseplant Series, Episode 2: Sansevieria 🌿

Also known as the snake plant, this one's practically unkillable. It handles low light, forgives forgotten waterings, and keeps that sleek, architectural look year-round.

Quick care tips:
💧 Water every 2–3 weeks, only when the soil is fully dry
☀️ Happy in low to bright indirect light
🪴 Use well-draining soil to avoid root rot

Meet the ZZ plant! 🌿 It's Heather's pick to kick off our houseplant series, and for good reason. This one thrives on neglect (seriously): low light, no fuss, and it'll still throw out glossy new leaves. Water only when the soil's fully dry, every 2-3 weeks is plenty. If you've killed every plant you've owned, start here. 🪴

Only one week until the 2026 MFA Floral Retreat!

🌸 We are absolutely thrilled to welcome everyone next weekend for an incredible experience.

We do have an important update regarding our speaker lineup. Due to health conditions, Jackie Lacey is unfortunately unable to travel and will not be presenting at this year's retreat. We send Jackie our warmest thoughts and wishes for a swift recovery

The floral community always takes care of its own, and we have some exciting news:

🌻 Make this bouquet with Lindsay!

Start to finish, here's how this one came together:

🌿 Greens first, always. They set the shape before a single bloom goes in
🤍 Filler next: a darker, moodier take on Queen Anne's lace for texture
🌻 Then the stars of the season: locally grown sunflowers and zinnias

It's the little blooms that get us every time. 🤍

Bud vases tucked into a "find your seat" display, hydrangeas the size of your heart, and greenery doing all the quiet work of shaping a table. This wedding was a masterclass in letting the details speak softly.
