Already sold, but we couldnโ€™t resist sharing the transformation. โœจ

12 McPhillips Avenue was one of our favorite projects to dateโ€”thoughtfully restored, reimagined, and brought back to life while honoring its Midtown character. Swipe to see where it started and the magic that followed.

Weโ€™re excited to introduce 104 Mohawk Street, the third property currently under renovation by our 1818 Design team!

Our vision is simple: honor the homeโ€™s history while giving it new life for the next generation. Over the coming months, weโ€™ll be restoring more than 3,300 square feet of living space, preserving the character and craftsmanship that make homes like this so special, and adding about 300 square feet to the rear of the home to make the first floor a complete and comfortable living space without having to sacrifice on quality, detail, or size of the living and bedroom spaces.

As always, our main goal is to preserve the historic details of this home while breathing life back into it and making it a luxury living experience for its next owners.

These old houses deserve to be saved, and we canโ€™t wait to share the transformation with you. Follow along as we bring 104 Mohawk Street back to life!

โœจ Sometimes the biggest transformations arenโ€™t the ones you immediately see. A reimagined powder room, a completely reworked kitchen, and a new connection to the backyard are beginning to take shape at 13 Audubon Place.

A blank canvas never looked so promising.

3 bedrooms. 2 baths. An upstairs primary suite. And plans for another primary retreat downstairs.

13 Audubon Place is shedding its past and preparing for its next chapter. โœจ

A glimpse through time. โœจ

This incredible photo was shared with us by former Audubon Place resident, Jill, and sourced from the University of South Alabamaโ€™s Marx Library Archives. In her hands is a historic image of 13 Audubon Place shortly after its construction in 1939.

Look closely and youโ€™ll notice something specialโ€”several eagle-eyed neighbors pointed out what appears to be a Model T tucked beside the home.

Standing in nearly the exact same spot decades later, itโ€™s remarkable to see how much has changedโ€ฆ and how much has remained beautifully the same. The timeless symmetry, the stately presence, and those majestic oaks continue to tell the story of this beloved home.

Jill, thank you for sharing this treasure with us. Every old photograph adds another chapter to the story weโ€™re honored to help preserve.
