I would like to introduce you to two new members of our family that will be coming home the middle of May. These two cuties are beautiful Cashmere goats that we got to meet and pick yesterday. One will be Timothys fiber goat project animal and we will use both to start building our herd. I am very excited to get to add this beautiful breed to our farm.
We now have 6 Alpacas (soon to be 8, when the 2 others come back home), a variety of hens and a rooster, a pet goat (Arlo), 4 pet dogs, 3 barn cats and a pet cat, and these two lovely ladies when they get home in May.
At Ryan Weishan's (my boys' dad) house last night they were surprised by 2 baby goats out of his female (Maggie) and male (Waylon) that we had all but given up on (we thought Maggie was just teasing us when we thought she was pregnant originally). As soon as he saw them he called and Mom, Mat, and myself loaded up and headed over to see them and offer any assistance if needed.
Yesterday was a day full of goat babies and snuggles. Enjoy these photos!
