Letโs talk about the perfectly imperfect mess that isโฆ well, LIFE. ๐
This is what candle-making looks like at my house. Not a beautifully styled workspace with coordinated props, perfect lighting, and one lonely candle sitting pretty on a marble countertop.
Nope. This is fragrance bottles, pouring pitchers, dozens of candles, approximately 47 things happening at once, and me trying to remember what Iโve already poured. ๐คฃ
And honestly? Life isnโt all that different.
Weโre juggling work, family, responsibilities, appointments, laundry, grocery lists, and approximately 10 million things that all seem to need our attention RIGHT. NOW.
Like my new baby chickens finding the open draft vents at the VERY top of their coupโฆ.
Social media makes it easy to think everybody else has a perfectly organized life with a spotless house, a thriving business, and absolutely no idea what it feels like to lose their phone while theyโre holding it. ๐
But real life isnโt a styled photo shoot.
Sometimes itโs messy. Sometimes itโs chaotic. Sometimes youโre just doing your best to keep all the wheels on the bus and hoping one more thing doesnโt need your immediate attentionโฆ
And thatโs OKAY. ๐
Behind every beautiful finished product, every successful business, and every picture-perfect moment, thereโs usually a whole lot of unglamorous work that nobody sees.
So hereโs your reminder today: You donโt have to make your life look perfect for it to be beautiful.
Give yourself a little grace. Celebrate what you did get done. And if all you accomplished today was keeping yourself and everyone else alive, fed, and mostly where theyโre supposed to beโฆ Iโm counting it. ๐๐
