Crafty Arrow Embroidery Gift shop I am a wife and mother raised and surrounded by creative people. My grandfather was an artist here in my home town of Charleston, SC.

My mom is also a creative soul who has her own Etsy shop. Being raised in Charleston, where the arts are a major part of our community, the love of art was instilled in me from my youth and is a large part of who I am. I had a small photography business, but realized that photography was more of a hobby rather than a true passion. I began to delve into embroidery because I love the large variety o

f products I can design and make. I'm blessed to have a studio in my home and enjoy this place as a haven for my creative mind. In case you're curious about the arrows - I've always loved the symbolism behind the arrow. For instance, a bundle of five arrows signifies strength. Two arrows pointing away from each other means war. But a broken arrow can mean peace. Two crossed arrows means friendship. And one of my favorite meanings - an arrow being pulled back on the bow can symbolize life dragging someone down, whereas the arrow being released propels them straight ahead into something new and positive
