❤️ What a week. What a year. ❤️
One year ago, we took a leap and became the new owners of Mercantile 85. We knew there would be a lot to learn, and we hoped this little store would continue to be a place our community wanted to support. This past week reminded us just how lucky we are. ❤️

Our Anniversary Week was a huge success, and Saturday absolutely blew us away. We truly cannot thank everyone enough who stopped in, shopped, visited, shared our posts, told a friend about us, or supported us in any way. Over this first year, we've added new products, welcomed new vendors, launched our online store, survived a summer of road construction 😅, tried some new things, learned a LOT, and continued working to make Mercantile 85 a place that's worth the drive to Rock Falls.

But the best part has been the people. We have customers who have been coming here for years, customers who discovered us after we took over, and customers who have become familiar faces that we genuinely look forward to seeing walk through the door.

To our customers, our vendors, our family and friends, and this community — thank you for making our first year one we'll never forget. We can't wait to see what Year Two brings. ❤️
