Simple String Studio's Class Schedule (Aug-Sept)

Sat 08/29 (3-5pm): Beginners Knitting
Tue 09/08 (4-6pm): Intro to Cross Stitch
Sat 09/19 (3-5pm): Intro to Tunisian Crochet
Sat 09/26 (4-6pm): Kids Beginners Crochet

We'll also have weekly workshop hours for a variety of fiber arts where you can just walk right in and get instruction and guidance by the hour--very handy for leveling up your skills and working out how to tackle new patterns!

PLUS: Totally free Social Stitch every Thursday from 4-6pm! Bring a project (or an idea to shop for), bring a snack, and hang out with fellow crafters. We'll likely add more of these hang-out sessions as we get settled into our routines, so keep an eye out for more options!

And weā€™re open! You fine folks blew me away with your support leading up to this. From the Ignite crew a year ago, to the amazing small business community in Monongahela, right down to my fellow fiber fanatics, this has felt like a huge community effort.

The studio schedule for the coming month will be posted soonā€”weā€™ve got beginners classes in knitting, cross stitch, Tunisian crochet, and kids crochet all lined up as well as regular workshop hours and the start of our weekly ā€œSocial Stitchā€ sessions. Your fiber connoisseur. A hook and needle know-it-all, if you will. If you want it and we donā€™t have it, weā€™ll get it. If you want to learn and donā€™t know how, weā€™ll teach you.

Itā€™s raining and dis-gus-tang, but weā€™re still here at the Farmerā€™s Market with a few other troopers. The studio will be open SO soon, so donā€™t feel like youā€™ve gotta brave the rain for us. But definitely brave it for the amazing produce and delicious hoagies and ice cream thatā€™s ready and waiting!
