Sending a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out to GWG yesterday and stopped by my tables. With some events, I am blown away by how kind everyone is. This was one of them. Genuinely, it made me feel a twinge of faith in humans again.
The pieces shown are only a few of the pieces that went to new, loving homes. Someone FINALLY appreciated the Green Men as much as I do π I was told a wholesome story about lady bugs, and everyone loved the Baba Yaga coffin box so I should definitely make more. I love it when people tell me personal anecdotes and stories. That connection means the world.
Another thing: I met a few folks who have incredibly sensitive ears, or who didn't have their ears pierced at all. All of my earring hooks are now entirely hypoallergenic/nickel free (stainless steel, silver plated, or 18k gold plated as options). But I have been mulling over the idea of offering a clip-on option for anyone who needs it; I can switch out the earring hook for the clip-ons right then and there, free of charge. Conversations from yesterday evening were incredibly helpful and I decided that I'm going to do this.
