My living room presently. Most people don’t realize what is involved in having and running an antique booth. There is finding the items, cleaning them, researching and pricing the item, loading the items you have priced and physically loading and unloading your items, and curating your booth with all of your found goodies. It is definitely a lot of work but I absolutely love it! I’m so excited to now how the time to devote to my passion since retiring from my 9 to 5 government job. Hoping to get my booths reset next week with fall and Halloween items. My favorite time of the year!🎃🎃👻

When you find out that the pretty fish plates you purchased from the 127 Yard Sale have a date code stamped on them by Homer Laughlin were made in 1911!!!!! They are 115 years old!! I just loved them because they had fish on them and they are a pretty green. I think I may be hanging on to these.

This is our haul from the 127 Longest Yard Sale. We shooed from Chattanooga, TN to Clarkrange, TN from Thursday to Sunday. It was so much fun and we met so many great people. Can’t wait until next year! I think we will try Kentucky and Ohio next year.

On the road back home from the 127 Longest Yard Sale. We went to Chattanooga and did the sales on Signal Mountain. Did the Crossville and Clarkrange sales. We had so much fun talking to different people and vendors. It rained every day. First two days the rain was scary - thunder and lightning. We helped a couple save their tent and wares on Friday. Here are some pics of our haul so far. I’ll post pics when we get home of all of it. We will be back next year!
