Amazing cast bronze relief made by my client’s late grandmother Brina Colby(1928-2019). She specialized in bronze and marble and only started producing art in her 40’s. Hung with custom heavy duty hardware, super solid💪🏼
Also installed, a tapestry by Portuguese artist Querubim Lapa (1925-2016)
And if you’re interested in how it’s hanging…I used two points of contact, one large gauge wood screw into a stud and one heavy duty toggle bolt in the drywall rated for 200+lbs. Sculpture weighed about 75lbs btw.

This piece was hung on a aluminum cleat on an uneven hardwood panel wall. Not the most straightforward hang but I love a good challenge and it turned out just as my client and I planned🎉
