The primary bath that I can’t get out of my mind.🚿

We were lucky enough to work with our client on this project after previously designing their living room, playroom, and primary bedroom!

We started by reworking the entire layout, removing the 90’s tub and replacing it with a HUGE shower and infrared sauna.

Warm wood tones, double herringbone tile, and Calacatta stone keep the aesthetic soft and timeless.

Every inch of this layout was rethought to fit how this family really lives. The result is a much more functional (and pretty!!😍) space.

Before anyone sees your kitchen or living room, they see your entryway. And regardless of the size, every foyer has the potential to be both pretty and practical.

Here are a few tips I recommend to clients when designing this area of their home:

✨Go big on lighting: A two-story foyer, like this one, can handle a large statement fixture, but even in smaller sized spaces, I always recommend sizing up a little more than feels comfortable.

✨Avoid dead space: Features like panel molding, a tall, arched window, or oversized art carries your gaze upward, making the space appear larger.

✨Incorporate an area rug: It doesn’t need to cover the entire floor, but it will help to ground the space while adding warmth.

✨Layer finishes: Natural textures like wood, linen, and aged brass soften the look and feel of an entryway. And yes, faux florals are ok!😉

Hi, I'm Hannah, wife, mom of two, and NJ-based interior designer. (fun fact, this is my third career, but they say third time's a charm which I can agree with!)

Design is extremely personal. I work closely with clients on projects and feel that not only do you have to like my design, but you have to like me. Because the vibes and journey are just as important as the finished product.

It may be an unpopular opinion, but a kid’s room should look like a kids room. That being said, it can also still be stylish, organized, and functional.

This space didn’t need a complete remodel; some new paint and accessories, a little decluttering, and better furniture placement gave my client’s daughter just the upgrade her room deserved.

In all seriousness, I love repurposing existing furniture and making it feel new. This couch is getting a total overhaul with updated fabrics to complement the redesign of this living room.

I can’t wait to share it with you once it’s finished!✨
