As my daughter, now 26, was growing up it seemed at though she got a new t-shirt every other week. Whether it was for a new sport season, a dance recital, a school event, or a church outing. Each of these t-shirts was a representation of an important life event, but over the years, even the most important t-shirt would become too small, too worn, forgotten, and somewhere in the b

ack of the closet. By taking her favorites t-shirts and turning them into a quilt, I was not only making her a nice warm blanket, but I also was preserving some of her most precious childhood and young adult memories. I then began to do this for others and I loved seeing the joy in their eyes when they saw all those important memories stitched together in a quilt them could use daily, hang on the wall, or pass on to loved ones.
