Another beautiful transformation completed! 🎉

This project took us to Willis, Texas, where we helped our customer improve the comfort and functionality of her living spaces with custom motorized Alta roller shades.

For this home, we selected a 3% solar screen fabric in a beautiful tweed color that perfectly complements her existing décor while preserving the outdoor views she loves. These shades help reduce glare, protect furnishings from harmful UV rays, and create a more comfortable environment throughout the day.

To give the installation a clean, finished look, each shade was completed with fabric-covered cassettes that blend seamlessly into the design of the room.

For the patio doors, we incorporated magnetic hold-downs to keep the shades secure when the doors are opened and closed, providing both beauty and practicality.

And when it comes to convenience, these shades deliver. With the touch of a button, our customer can operate all of the shades at once, control them by group, or adjust each shade individually using her remote.

The result is a home that feels more comfortable, more functional, and just as beautiful as ever.

Comfort, convenience, and complete light control—all in one beautiful solution. ☀️🌙✨

We recently traveled to downtown Houston to help one of our amazing repeat customers outfit their guest house with custom dual roller shades from Insolroll.

Each window features a solar screen for daytime glare and UV protection, paired with a blackout shade and side/sill channels for true room-darkening performance when needed. Whether guests want natural light during the day or complete darkness for sleeping, these shades deliver the best of both worlds.

The project included both manual dual shades with continuous chain loops and motorized Somfy shades powered by solar panels for effortless operation.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with this family again and help create a more comfortable, functional space for their guests.

Here’s a little behind the scenes of a BMB service call..
This home had 14 Gen 2 Hunter Douglas Silhouette shades that stopped operating properly because the batteries needed replacing and remote reprogramming.

What looks simple actually takes knowledge, patience, and experience. Every shade has to communicate correctly and operate in sync.

In just one visit, we replaced batteries, tested functionality, and made sure everything was working exactly as it should.

This is why working with professionals matters. When you invest in custom window treatments, you also need someone who can service, troubleshoot, and stand behind the product long after installation day.

From worn-out to wow ✨

This beautiful home had honeycomb shades that had seen better days—failing cords, broken cells, and no longer doing their job. We were honored to step in and bring new life to this primary bedroom with stunning motorized blackout shades 🤍

Now, with just the touch of a button (or even on a schedule!), their shades open and close effortlessly—no cords, no hassle… just comfort, privacy, and peace.

Not only do they function beautifully, but they truly complete the space—adding that perfect finishing touch every room deserves.
