Out with the old divided sink and in with our new apron front sink! Who knew washing dishes could feel like a spa day? Now it’s just the seven of us competing over who gets to wash the dishes! Ok, not really, but a girl can dream.😂🥴 fypreelsシ゚viralシ

It took 7ish years of trial and error, but our dated kitchen is officially the cozy heart of our home. Thanks to the generosity of family and Chris’s incredible DIY expertise, so many ideas that lived inside my head have finally been brought to life.✨

I’ll be posting even more updates over the next few days because there was simply too much to share in just one post! What’s your favorite part of the new kitchen so far?!

Nothing quite helps you pull together a space like hosting a party! This was only the second party we had hosted since moving into this beautiful home almost 7 years ago and it was the first time it was warm enough to entertain in this space! When we were house hunting it was really important to us to find a place where our family and friends could gather and create some fun memories together. This home has given us the perfect setting for those memories both inside and out. I was driven to FINALLY drag out our patio cushions and piece everything together to create an inviting and comfortable space for our guests. Everything worked out beautifully and we had a wonderful evening celebrating our son. It is exhausting prepping for and hosting a party but if you end up with a clean home or (in our case) a completed and comfy space it’s like the cherry on top.

Our home was built in 1842 so she has seen a LOT of seasons pass by.🍂 Fall has always been one of my favorite times to decorate and I’m looking forward to sprucing her up over the next few weeks! Bring on sweater weather, pumpkin lattes and all things cozy!🔥
