Do you love quilts? Want to learn how to create these heirlooms to pass on for future generations? Are you an experienced quilter? Come join The Contented Heart Quilt Guild. We own The Quilt Shoppe, on Main St.
Membership is $15 annually. We ask each member to work 2 days a month. We rent our shelf units to various vendors, so you would help with their sales. As a non-profit this helps keep the lights on. You will have another member working with you. Never alone.
This guild is a merry group of 45 quilting ladies. Any one of us will guide you in the journey of learning the craft and become a friend.
Some of our community programs are Veteran quilts for our County Veterans, comfort quilts for our police and county deputies, these go to children when there is a traumatic event, car crash, removal from homes or any reason. We just presented our police officers with a quilt as a Thank you for their service.
Once a year we present a quilt show at the Aspire Center on Labor Day weekend. You don't want to miss this event!
If we have enough interest we will teach a child or adult class in quilting.
Come in and talk to any member about joining.

Our guild made quilts for our police officers as Thank you for their service. As our officers work in shifts, only 2 were able to attend. President Karen McGinnis, and Betty Rains presented.

Please order your cakes early. These are the best cakes!

I am planning a cake sale next Friday. I will be taking orders and delivery for Friday July 3rd. Cakes will be my usual 4” mini cakes. Perfect for your July 4th cookouts. Orders will be taken by text only so I can keep up with the order they come in. I will post the number to text next Thursday and will respond to only text. Cake flavors will also be posted next Thursday.

Don't forget tomorrow is First Saturday downtown. It's never to early to start your Christmas shopping, we will have quilts and handmade craft items.
We are also having a bake sale. All proceeds from the bake sale will go to supporting our annual Quilt Show of the Little Mountains.

We are looking for a food truck to feed our guests at the Quilt Show Labor Day weekend Friday and Saturday) You will park outside the Aspire Center. We average 500 adults, plus children every year during the 2 days. Please let us know if you are interested.

The Quilt Shoppe will be having a bake sale, craft sale and fabric sale! The bake sale will help fund our annual Quilt Show of the Little Mountains Labor Day weekend.The booths are full of new items, too! We have lots of quilts for sale that make wonderful Mothers Day gifts.
