Hey y’all, I’m Joy! A mom, wife, and hobby farm owner! I have two amazing kiddos, Madison and Michael. Madison is in her junior year of high school, and we could not be more proud of the young lady she is becoming. She has a pure heart and loves all animals, especially her three horses, Duncan, Legend and Bandit! ❤️ She’s the kind of girl that would spend most of days at the barn on the back of her horse, if we allowed her to. Michael is in 7th grade and is all boy. His favorite place to be is outside, he is such a joker and loves to make people laugh. He’s too smart for his own good. He loves to take things apart but, is still learning on the putting back together part. Then there’s my incredible (hope that adds some brownie points- lol!) husband, Mike. He plays a vital role in the success of my business; from picking up material, cutting & measuring wood, and the occasional eye roll at my crazy crafting ideas! As a family, we enjoy hanging out on our farm, watching Michael ride his dirt bike, and Madison do her thing, barrel racing! 🙂
In addition to Charming Joy Designs, I workfull time for one of the largest dental distribution companies. I love my job and the people I work with!
If all of that wasn’t enough, we also run a “hobby farm”! We have about everything! This past year we just got a cow, Molly. Goats, chickens, ducks, potbellied pigs, mini horse, horse, dogs & cats,a turtle, we have it all!
These last 7 years have been incredible growing Charming Joy Designs; it has been a dream of mine for as long as I remember, and I am grateful you entrust me to make your dreams a reality. I also enjoy encouraging others with whatever goals they have in life. I love to see how people flourish in life once they reach goals and continue to build new ones. Life is all what you make it and what a beautiful life we all have.
Thank you for visiting, purchasing and continuing to allow me live my dream. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me and our family with Charming Joy Designs.

Funny Story:
A customer sends me a message and says:
“Hey, can you make me a unicorn tumbler?”
Me: “Absolutely, no problem!”

I was so excited about this one because I hadn’t done it for a while. As soon as I send her a picture of it- I was like oh crap, is that even the right one? I didn’t even ask which one she wanted. So, I nervously wait for the reply...
Her response “I totally love it but, it’s for my 5 year old niece” We both started laughing hysterically.

Lesson learned: ALWAYS ask questions, even if you think you know your customers.

It actually turned out great though: She ended up still purchasing it for the 5 year olds mom.
