San Juan Candle Company We are a small candle company located in Montrose, Colorado. We hand make concrete vessels for our candles and hand pour every candle using 100% soy wax.

Why soy wax? Soy Wax is a non toxic wax that burns longer and cleaner when compared to its counterpart paraffin wax, which is made from petroleum oil. Petroleum based wax produces harmful bi-products when it is burned or melted. This is why Soy Wax is the safer and healthier option for both your health and our environment! Soy wax is also known to burn thirty to fifty percent longer then those can

dles made of paraffin wax. It has a low melting point which allows for a larger burn pool, which in turn releases more fragrance as the candle is being burned. Why concrete vessels? Simply for aesthetics and durability! The matte finish on the concrete looks great in any home no matter the decor style. We are passionate about the reusability of our vessels. The interior of our jars are sealed with a non toxic sealer that makes them easy to clean and reuse for other purposes such as pots for small plants!
