Oct 4th-10th is Fire Prevention Week! So let's talk about candle safety:

Keep your wicks trimmed! Trimmed wicks means more controlled and smaller flames, less sooting, and a slower and safer burn.

Keep a candle safe environment. Keep candles away from children and pets. Burn on a heat resistant and stable surface away from any curtains, drafts, fans, or flammable materials.

Keep an eye out! NEVER leave a candle unattended. If the flame is dancing around, extinguish your candle and trim the wick before relighting.

Extinguish properly. NEVER use water to extinguish your candle! Use a candle snuffer, heat safe lid, or gently blow on the candle (away from any flammable materials) to extinguish. Let the candle cool completely before handling it.

Know when to let go... Stop lighting your candle after 4 hours or when there is 1/4" of wax remaining (whichever comes first).

Not only will these tips help keep you safe, they'll extend the lifespan of your candles too!

If you have kids, pets, or have a tendency to forget candles burning you should try a flame-free fragrance option like wax melts or room & linen sprays.

Goal for 2027: have everybody's bathroom smell like Waves of Tranquility 😂

Waves of Tranquility is just SUCH a good scent! Who doesn't love the clean smell of the ocean?! 🌊

Despite only being launched this year, Waves of Tranquility room & linen sprays are my best selling product of the year!

As a reminder, our room & linen sprays are paraben and phthalate free, made without any DPGs or alcohol. They use a biodegradable commercial-grade odor eliminator and are cruelty free and skin safe!
