I recently decided i wanted some nice paper towel holders for the house since I didn't much like the look of ones sold else where. They have black walnut bases and oak dowel rods. I used a black walnut wedge in the large dowel to secure it tighter in the hole.

Here's my latest creation for a new customer. He requested a Whiskey box with en emblem put onto it, so I chose to stray from my comfort zone and fiddle around with colored epoxy inlays. It was a huge learning experience but it turned out absolutely amazing I think. There's a few progress photos where you can see different steps I took when creating the badge.

Here's a little 3ft long and 7" wide yard stick for my step dads boat that I made the other day. It's made out of cedar, and he chose to receive it unfinished, as he's going to varnish it with multiple coats to get that perfect, glass-top finish.
