Just finished up this beautiful shower! This client wanted to just remodel their shower (for now) so we created a design that complimented their existing bathroom elements (vanity, stone flooring and white claw foot tub). She leaned more towards a modern style but because of the more traditional pieces already in the room we had to make sure it all flowed naturally. She selected this large modern white tile that has a very spa like feel to it and I decided to pair that with this warm greige Zellige tile that we used to create a vertical stripe pattern and a stacked horizontal pattern for the niche that extended the whole length of the shower wall so that the shower had some warmth. For the shower floor we chose a mixed river stone that created a conversation between the warm tiles on the wall and the grey existing stone on the main bathroom floor playing on the spa-like environment. Breaking up all the white tile was important to me because all the existing white in the bathroom would have been very stark and unwelcoming. Adding touches of warm grays and beiges really made a difference to the feel of the whole room. It’s always in the details! This project goes to show that even if you can only change one element in a room, with the right products it can change the entire vibe!
