First photo drop from our Tailored Manor project ✨

For this corner office, we leaned into my client’s love of green, wrapping the room in a rich, saturated hue. We also reworked the built-ins, reducing the amount of shelving to create more breathing room and allow the architectural details, books and collected objects to take center stage.

A pop of yellow in the rug pulls from the golden undertones of the green walls and nods to the brass accents found throughout the space (view two coming soon!).

Revisiting this favorite little kitchen moment from our Cottage in the Heights project✨

Open shelving can be a love it or leave it feature, but I especially love it in smaller doses where it bridges character and function, providing a place to display serveware and special pieces you reach for when the occasion calls.

Excited to share that Eisman Home was included in a piece on design upgrades that can make a home feel more elevated, with a focus on simple ways to bring more light into darker spaces. (Article linked in stories)

For our Historic Broad Street Victorian project, I shared the example of using a mirror in a darker hallway to help reflect light from adjoining spaces. To keep it character-rich and budget-friendly, I sourced a gilded vintage mirror from an antique market that visually opened up the space and added another layer of charm.

It’s a small reminder that thoughtful design is not always about the most expensive piece ✨

I can never resist a good before and after. While we did paint the original brick here (gasp!), it wasn’t a brick worth preserving, and once the mantel was removed for better TV viewing height, the patched areas would have been nearly impossible to match.

I always enjoy the challenge of multifunctional spaces and creating zones through color and architectural features. With this blank slate at the Cottage in the Heights project, I was able to let my imagination run free and I love the way all the custom details came together in both a classic and functional way ✨

A little transformation for your Friday ✨
One thing I love about old homes is turning quirks into something both functional and aesthetically inspiring, like hiding a stack behind custom built-ins so all you see is a cohesive, elevated space. This primary bath has so many custom touches, for me that’s the definition of dreamy ✨

A farmhouse sink and a few unfussy market stems… sometimes the simplest details leave the deepest impression. I designed this kitchen to feel inviting and inspiring on its own, but to also be a calm backdrop for added layers that bring its soul to the surface.

Research continues to show that nurturing and intentionally designed environments support how we feel, work and rest. This is exactly the kind of space I dreamed of creating, and I love filling it with moments that delight.✨
