“I’m an artist.” “Oh really? What kind of art?”

The kind that gives Grandma’s well-loved chair a whole new life!

The wood was in great shape, but this chair needed a serious facelift. We paired a soft coat of Fusion Mineral Paint in Inglebrook with the most fun, whimsical bird fabric, and I think Grandma would agree this beauty was worth saving!

Because sometimes the best pieces aren’t the new ones. They’re the ones with a story, a little history, and a whole lot of life left in them.

That’s my kind of art.

When life feels a little off, so you stop by the boutique for a little bit of this, a little bit of that, and somehow leave with a whole new mood. 😂

A cute purse, a candle, some jewelry, and cozy slippers later… consider me healed. 🛍️✨

POV: You’re one minor inconvenience away from a full-blown meltdown, but you own a business… so naturally, you add “have a tantrum” to the to-do list and get back to work. 😂

Because apparently, even losing your mind has to be scheduled around running a business. 🙃

The day I met you… I started dreaming. ✨

A little sanding, a little paint, a little wax, and a whole new chapter for this piece.

Another Flippin’ Friday at Sweetbay! Because sometimes all a good piece of furniture needs is a second chance.

A little peek into the daily circus of being a boutique owner, mom, dog mom, furniture painter, bookkeeper, customer service rep, UPS greeter, and chauffeur.

Walk the dogs. Work out. Paint furniture. Do paperwork. Help customers. Receive approximately 47 packages. Leave the store. Head to middle school soccer. Finally land on the couch with the dogs.

And somehow, we do it all in 24 hours. 😅
