Gotta keep on working if I'm going to have enough ceramics for Nerdyween next weekend! You could say things got a little loony this week😜

Looking forward to hanging out at Paradox Comics-N-Cards next Saturday! In addition to these loons, I'll have:

🐈‍⬛Cats, cats, & more cats
🍄Mushrooms, plant spikes
🎃Pumpkins, ghosts, spooky trees
🧹Witchy things like mini cauldrons
..and much more! My costume is gonna crack ya up 😁

Happy Saturday & hope to see ya next Saturday!

In addition to nerdy ceramics, I'll have as many loons as I can produce between now & next Saturday.

Hope to see y'all there!

Are you feeling that spooky thrill as Nerdyween creeps ever closer???? Everyone at 814 Main Avenue is excited for Saturday, October 24th and our annual Halloween event @ Paradox Comics-N-Cards in downtown Fargo!

Gretchen from UnCOMN Ceramics is getting ready to take part in our Nerdyween Creator Market. She’s a lifelong ceramics artist who inherited vintage molds, acquired her own over the years, and loves to put her own spin on her pieces to bring joy to your space(s). It’s not just a craft for her, it’s a true passion and you’ll love browsing and shopping her booth.

It all starts at 10AM on the 24th and the Creator Market is just one part of the day!
*Costume Contest!
*Free comics!
*Pumpkin design contest!
*20% off sale!

It’s truly one of our favorite events of the year because of how many costumes and friends and family come and take part so mark your calendar, plan your costume, and we’ll see you there!

Packing up for tomorrow's Brewhalla Fall Craft Fest 😃

Doors at noon, Drekker Brewing Company has some new beers (PCloadletter lol), and plenty of food stuff inside Brewhalla 🍻

I have a limited stock of loons, but I'm bringing everything I have! The weather is supposed to be crappy, so spend your Sunday inside & 🎨🧶🧹

The loonatic production line is in full gear! My test magnets turned out great, so I'm wramping up production for TWO markets in October.

And yes...I will be making a couple shmedium-size Rebel Loons.

Stay tuned for market info!

Damnit. I thought the big cats were on sturdy stilts, but apparently not. One fell on top of a plant spike, so that AND the cone holder thingies are stuck. Argh.

At least the loons came out ok???

It's been a busy weekend in the Craftice! I have a full glaze table, the kiln's running a glaze firing, and the Minnesota Vikings are on TV. Not pictured: my homework from last week's West Central Minnesota Small Business Development Center - SBDC free cohort/byo lunch & learn.

For those patiently waiting for loons, I have a couple of test magnets in the kiln right now. Once I pull those, I'll know if my painting "skills" are good enough for y'all. FWIW, that'll be tomorrow after job #2.

My supervisors, Peanut and Jelly, are keeping me on task, but their cuteness is SO distracting.

I hope you're having a lovely Sunday-have a great week!

Happy Labor Day!

While I don't have to labor for job number 2, I have been laboring this weekend for job number 1.

One of my amazing nieces suggested I paint this cat with a Lisa Frank design in mind. Is that back in style? I won't believe it until I see a Lisa Frank unicorn Trapper Keeper.

I forgot to take a video or pic of my latest drop at First Avenue Market Fargo this week. Rest assured there are some awesome pieces over there including a special planter. If you're out & about, swing by!
