Two repurposed vintage and antique pocket watch necklaces finished for tomorrow’s Bash! These cases were pieced together with multiple vintage and antique discarded case parts. New pieces!

These stunning one of a kind necklaces and earrings feature authentic antique, gorgeous, highly embossed perfume and cream jar labels from 1905-1920.

The Violet Toilet Water and Carnation Toilet Water labels:

Brand/Maker: Phil Eisemann, Lancaster, PA.Era: Circa 1905–1915.Design: Stone lithograph, highly embossed with deep floral/carnation artwork.Historical Context: Phil Eisemann was a prominent barber preparation supplier in the early 20th century.

Edelweiss Disappearing Cream:

Manufactured by the Lincoln Chemical Works in Chicago, IL, was primarily produced during the 1910s and 1920s. The company, founded by Robert Blumer, produced the skin cream to act as a moisturizer, makeup base, and skin improver.

Claims: True to the era’s patent medicine advertising, the label boasts broad cosmetic claims, stating it would “build the flesh, remove wrinkles & develop the bust”

I’ve placed the labels between glass (the glass for the Edelweiss and top part of the Violet label are vintage glass pieces) and soldered with lead free solder.

I acquired a collection of highly collectible, rare antique Victorian era microscope slides from the United Kingdom. These slides are prized for their exquisite specimen preparation, ornate paper labeling, and historical significance.

I’ve carefully repurposed each slide into a one of a kind, unique piece of jewelry. This post features necklaces. (Earrings in previous post) I’ve placed a piece of microscope slide glass over each antique slide to protect the specimen. Then, soldered each piece using the Tiffany technique and finished by adding patina and buffing to give the solder a vintage look.

I’ve spent hours researching each slide’s specimen details, as well as the slide’s preparer information and year or date range they were prepared. Then handwritten all info on cards for each slide.

The slides feature histology specimens (both human and animal) and botany specimens.

I’m also willing to turn one of the earrings from my previous post into a necklace if you see one you’d like to have as a necklace.

I acquired a collection of highly collectible, rare antique Victorian era microscope slides from the United Kingdom. These slides are prized for their exquisite specimen preparation, ornate paper labeling, and historical significance.

I’ve carefully repurposed each slide into a one of a kind, unique piece of jewelry. This post features 32 earrings. I’ve placed a piece of microscope slide glass over each antique slide to protect the specimen. Then, soldered each piece using the Tiffany technique and finished with texturing, patina added, and buffed to give the solder a vintage look.

I’ve spent hours researching each slide’s specimen details, as well as the slide’s preparer information and year or date range they were prepared. Then handwritten all info on cards for each slide.

Some examples include slides that won the coveted and prestigious Prize Medal at the 1867 Paris Universal Exposition.

The slides feature histology specimens (both human and animal) and botany specimens.

CANCELATION: Hey, ya’ll. Unfortunately, I won’t be at the Vandalia Gathering this weekend. With the weather forecast showing significant rain all day both days, high winds, and thunderstorms in the afternoons both days for an all outdoors event (music, art, food, etc) traffic will be way down. That, on top of $600+ in expenses right out the gate (lodging, gas, food, booth fee). I NEVER cancel on an event, but I need to do what’s best for me financially. I’ve spent all week watching the weather and debating on what to do and just finally made up my mind last night, because I really, really didn’t want to cancel on an event. I feel so horribly about it.

My next event will be at FestivALL next weekend. ❤️
