We have been experiencing extreme cold here in upstate NY. I have been unable to keep my studio warm enough to do clay work as it is being kept at just above freezing. I’m looking forward to warmer weather in February but for now I’m hibernating.

I have been getting back into the studio after having Covid. I never knew that it persisted so long in the form of brain fog, clumsiness, and low energy. Making a few things, but low on clay. I let it get low on purpose as this was intended to be my vacation time and I didn’t want to keep the heat on. It’s awfully cold in there even with a combination of electric and propane heat, and an occasional wood-fire. Today I made some berry dishes with saucers. My clay order should be coming in 2-3 weeks or so I’m told.
