āØA Little Info About the Vendor Side of Upcycle Ju**ie.
Weāve had quite a few questions lately about how the vintage and handmade vendor side of Upcycle Ju**ie works, so I thought this would be a good time to explain it.
Upcycle Ju**ie is not a traditional consignment shop, and we donāt purchase items outright or accept everything that is brought to us.
Our vendor spaces are curated, and new vendors are selected based on their items and how well they fit with the overall feel of the shop. We focus primarily on vintage, handmade and upcycled pieces that are unique, interesting and a good fit for Upcycle Ju**ie.
A few things to know:
ā¢ Please call, message or email us before bringing items to the shop. We arenāt able to accept unplanned drop-offs.
ā¢ All vendors complete a vendor agreement. We donāt simply take individual items and price and sell them on someoneās behalf.
ā¢ Vendors price and tag their own merchandise. Iām always happy to help with pricing when requested.
ā¢ There are no booths to rent. Display space and placement are determined by Upcycle Ju**ie and may change as inventory changes.
ā¢ Our vendor split is 80% to the vendor and 20% to Upcycle Ju**ie, with vendor payments available monthly after the first of the month.
ā¢ Vendors are expected to keep their inventory fresh by adding new pieces, rotating merchandise and removing items that havenāt sold within 30 days.
Some things that generally arenāt a fit for our shop include clothing, shoes, newer household goods, large furniture, low-value collectibles and mass-produced decor.
Most importantly, we donāt buy items outright. If youāre looking to sell a collection or household items for immediate payment, we probably arenāt the right fit.
We love having local vendors and collectors represented inside Upcycle Ju**ie, and being selective is part of what keeps the shop interesting and gives it the eclectic, curated feel weāre after.
