Rainy days are the perfect excuse for slowing down, dimming the lights, turning on some tunes, and making a hot cuppa somethin in a space that hugs you like this little kitchen corner that is still one of our favorite design moments of all time 🤎

With project phase 2 wrapping up, I love looking back at these artifacts of our time on site over these last few months.

Before we have a carefully curated, polished photo shoot, these are the views of what this job looked like day in and day out. Incredible crew, frequent brainstorm huddles, dusty debris, slow progress to make way for big progress, and coffee. ALWAYS coffee.

Tim and I are so incredibly grateful and blessed to do this work alongside some of the most skilled craftspeople in this industry, not to mention the MOST patient, trusting, delightful clients to ever exist.

And then there’s all of you- what a joy it is to have a community to share these little bits of our story with. Thank you thank you thank you for your love, curiosity, humor, engagement, and support. You literally keep us going.

The little details make the most magic, don’t they? The handmade pieces, the locally sourced finds, the secondhand treasures - these are the layers that bring so much soul to a space.

This time of year especially, shifting even a small amount of our holiday spending toward independent businesses has a real impact - studies show that for every $100 spent locally, about $68 stays in the community. Isn’t that amazing?! It’s one of the simplest ways to support the makers, dreamers, and neighbors who keep our communities creative, vibrant, and just plain cool.

As a small local business ourselves, we feel that impact firsthand and are so very grateful for the support that allows us to keep creating and contributing our small part to this local ecosystem of magic ✨

We love an ottoman moment 🤎

Tucked into corners, under shelves, or pulled up next to a sofa - they finish a space *and* give you instant extra seating whenever and wherever needed.

Especially this festive time of year when every seat becomes prime real estate, these little cuties really come through as both a decorative finish and a comfy perch for guests of all ages…though the littlest ones always seem to claim them first 😇

Small but mighty. Big fans over here!
