NEW GARAGE DOORS! Yikes, trying to get used to the wood look. I read recently that replacing old garage doors has the highest return on investment for home improvements at 230%! I’m not sure if that number is accurate, but I do know we replaced the garage doors 18 years ago when we moved in because the old doors were in such poor condition, an expense we didn’t expect. We chose an off white color back then, and now those doors had to be replaced.

This time around, I wanted to try something different and went with the wood look. It seems like 99% of garage doors are white so I know this isn’t the popular choice which was actually why I wanted something different. I figured I could always paint them though if I didn’t like them because I am a painter after all. They are gorgeous and I do love them, especially knowing that we want to upgrade the old siding as well and then have the opportunity to change the entire look of the house. The quality of these new thick insulated doors is so much better than the previous which is so nice, but I’m admittedly still getting used to the new color. Working with AE Door & Window Co. on this project was a breeze. ~ Andrea Joy 🏡

Waterfall Progress - More boulders are coming, and one will have a hole drilled through it to sit over the PVC pipe. I could sit here all day. ~Andrea Joy 😊🙌🏻👂
