This was a fun little project to take on. My mother-in-law received a big block of Himalayan salt and wanted to have me make it into a lamp for her. I hand carved a nice block of black walnut for the base, sanded the salt block flat on the bottom and then drilled it out for the light. I think it turned out pretty good. Please message me if you have any custom pieces you would like created for your home.

My brother in-law requested a monitor stand for his office this year for his birthday. This is my first time attempting a waterfall edge, and although it's not perfect I think it turned out pretty good! I added in some photos of the creation process this time as well as the final result.

This client ordered two maple clocks with the Peterbilt logo. This was an interesting challenge to hand carve. A CNC definitely would have been able to do a more precise inlay, but I think the "rustic" approach gave these some character. Please message me if you are interested in ordering your own custom made piece.

Edit: Fun fact, the founder of Peterbilt (T.A. Peterman) started the company here in Morton, WA. I think it's kind of neat that these clocks were made in the same small town! 😁
