I suppose I’m due for an introduction…
Welcome, new friends. 🫶🏻
My name is Rebecca Paloma Camacho.
Paloma means dove in Spanish- a little piece of my name that I’ve always loved.🕊️
I’m a mother, a flower farmer, and a woman in business.
I’m the daughter of a rancher and the granddaughter of an immigrant field worker. I’m a first-generation American, carrying the hard work, sacrifices, and dreams of the generations before me while trying to build something of my own.
I’m a hard worker, and I take a lot of pride in the life I’m building because nothing was handed to me.
I’ve been flower farming since 2023, and I still don’t have all the answers. I won’t pretend I have it all figured out or that everything is perfect. Most days, I’m learning as I go, getting my hands dirty, making mistakes, trying again, and finding a whole lot of joy in the process.
My favorite flower is actually a wild daisy, if you can believe that. 🌼
That love comes from the fields of wild daisies I remember seeing while growing up and visiting the beautiful mountains of Montana. Some of my favorite childhood memories are tied to those places, and I think that little girl who loved wandering through those fields is still a pretty big part of who I am today.⛰️
I get dirty. I work hard. I love the land and everything that comes with it.
But I also love being a woman in all of her softness—the pretty things, the creativity, the romance, and the quiet moments.
I’m not afraid to be both. 🤍
There’s so much more to me than agriculture, but it is—and has always been—a big part of my life.
I’m a creative and an introvert at times, but I’m also learning to embrace the joys of being an extrovert. I love a good conversation, meaningful connections, and seeing how something as simple as a handful of flowers can make someone’s entire day.💐
