I have had a couple of people ask if this sale was the last. So, here is the long answer to that question.
Every time I go to Nisswa (where my shop was), I look to see if any buildings are vacant-just out of habit. I loved having a shop so much! My actual career, up until I retired, was spent being an elementary school teacher and I loved that job and did it from 1988–2012. However, when I opened my shop in 2014, I truly found my passion! I miss having my shop a lot, but I’m a grandma to 5 grandkids (soon to be 6-yahoo!) & 4 are in Indiana & I’m in Minnesota. This grandma likes to go often and whenever I want, so it’s hard to be tied down. I’ve learned to never say never, but I doubt if I’ll open up again.
So was this my last sale? I have gone through all of my inventory now & it feels so good to finally check that off my “to do” list, but I may still find things that I either forgot to post or wasn’t sure if I wanted to hold onto it. If that happens, I may randomly post a thing or two. I do think this was my last big sale though.
With that being said, I am still tossing a few ideas around in my head regarding my Tattered Edges page. Whether or not I’ll pursue it, remains to be seen.
For now, I’m going to concentrate on getting my house completely decorated & organized. Then, I’m off to spend the winter in Florida.
My FB page won’t be taken down, so check in from time-to-time to see if I’ve posted anything. You never know!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your business & the friendships that have come with this job. I truly cherish all of my customers.
I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! Eat lots & always be grateful!🦃❤️🤎❤️🦃
