Located in the historic coal town of Mount Hope and housed in the former Aide’s Department Store, which opened in 1931, our antique store enjoys a spacious and appropriate setting. Visitors to the store love the high tin ceiling and old-fashioned feeling. In addition to the smaller decorative and collectible pieces, you’ll find fabulous furniture in wicker or walnut, vintage vinyl or Victorian, curly maple or country casual, with paint or patina! Flea market enthusiasts will enjoy exploring our “attic.” Ours is truly an eclectic mix… with something for everyone! A joint effort of two sisters and a husband/brother-in-law, begun in 2006, Antiques at Aide’s is a growing venture and a labor of love. We are pleased to be a part of Mount Hope, with its proud past and its current revitalization. Our store is here to meet the needs of our customers — area residents and out-of-town visitors — who love the benefits that come with things that are “aged.” So we will be growing and changing along with our city… as we recycle the past together!
