Located in the historic coal town of Mount Hope and housed in the former Aide’s Department Store, which opened in 1931, our antique store enjoys a spacious and appropriate setting. Visitors to the store love the high tin ceiling and old-fashioned feeling. You’ll be invited to explore the diverse and bountiful selection that we offer -- everything from bone china to cast iron…gilded to distressed…

the unusual to the utilitarian… rustic to refined. In addition to the smaller decorative and collectible pieces, you’ll find fabulous furniture in wicker or walnut, vintage vinyl or Victorian, curly maple or country casual, with paint or patina! Flea market enthusiasts will enjoy exploring our “attic.” Ours is truly an eclectic mix… with something for everyone! A joint effort of two sisters and a husband/brother-in-law, begun in 2006, Antiques at Aide’s is a growing venture and a labor of love. We are pleased to be a part of Mount Hope, with its proud past and its current revitalization. Our store is here to meet the needs of our customers — area residents and out-of-town visitors — who love the benefits that come with things that are “aged.” So we will be growing and changing along with our city… as we recycle the past together!

Antiques at Aide's is permanently closed. However, the following items are still available for sale at the posted prices below. If you know that you definitely want a particular item or items, please call the store at (304) 877-2088 and leave a message. We will try to return your call within 24 hours to accept your payment through our Venmo account or an over-the-phone credit card charge.

If you prefer to view an item in person before making a decision, please plan to come into the store on Friday & Saturday, November 3-4, between the hours of 10am and 6pm. Previously purchased items may be picked up on these two days as well.

If you wish to purchase any item, please leave a message on the store phone at (304) 877-2088. We will try to return your call within 24 hours to accept your payment through our Venmo account or an over-the-phone credit card charge.
Purchased items can be picked up at the store on Friday & Saturday, November 2-3. If this is not possible for you, we can try to make other arrangements. We will be open on these two days for further viewing and additional in-store purchases from 10am-5pm.

Today us our LAST DAY in business! We are grateful to have had the experience of meeting many wonderful folks through the past 17 years. We have enjoyed sharing our “treasures” with you. Thank you for all your love and support!

Our second and FINAL Liquidation Sale begins soon! We are busy further reducing prices and putting out new items. The sale runs from Friday to Sunday, 10am-6pm, September 15, 16 & 17. The posted photos were taken this morning.

Thanks to everyone who came out this past weekend, our store inventory has been greatly reduced! We will have one more sale… a month from now. There will be many items further reduced and some new items on the sales floor as we clean out hallways and other storage areas. The dates for the sale will be September 15, 16 and 17. If you are just now learning of our store, we are closing after 17 years in business. This is our last weekend! We are open this Friday and Saturday, July 14 and 15, 10 AM to 5 PM. The photos were taken just prior to opening. We still have many items. We will close for a few weeks and then have a liquidation sale on August 10, 11 and 12.

Our many loyal customers and friends have made the past 17 years an enjoyable experience for us. Thank you! We will miss you!
