Is your accent wall feeling dated? Do what we did in this dining room… finish the rest of the walls in the same pattern! This dining room already had a board and batten accent wall but it wasn’t the wall you saw when you first walked into the house. It left the room with feeling like it needing something else, so I took the same pattern and wrapped it around the room for a more modern look! Now the room is brighter and has a more custom and modern feel.

Complete kitchen makeover! My sister and her family bought a new house earlier this year and the kitchen needed an upgrade! So I got to work…..

✨ Painted the cabinets
✨ Installed new flooring
✨ Picked out new counters
✨ Installed backsplash

And Ta-Da!! She has a completely new kitchen that is both bright and warm.

We went with one of my favorite whites for the walls, Alabaster by Sherwin Williams and a light taupe for the cabinets (Accessible Beige by Sherwin Williams). And believe it or not that is peel and stick tiles for the backsplash… we kept going back and forth if we wanted to keep it neutral or to add some color, so we decided to try out adding a color backsplash by using peel and stick, which is not only cost effective but also can be removed if the color ended up being to bold. And they look fantastic, you can’t tell they aren’t real tiles!

Also… isn’t my model the cutest… everyone meet Bailey, this sweet old girl was by my side through the whole process!
