🦋 I don’t think you can be from Tennessee and not feel like Dolly Parton belongs, at least a little, to you.

I’ve lived here most of my life, and like pretty much all Tennesseans (and the rest of the world, really) I adore Dolly. She is often referred to as our unofficial patron saint, and there are a million reasons why. She was unbelievably talented, surprisingly funny, incredibly generous, so very beautiful, and somehow always felt completely, authentically herself.

A few years ago, my sister gave me Dolly Parton, Songteller: My Life in Lyrics, knowing how much I love both Dolly and a beautiful coffee table book. I loved it then, but after Dolly’s passing, it feels even more special.

It’s filled with photographs, stories, and the lyrics to many of her songs. It’s one of those rare books that’s every bit as beautiful sitting on a coffee table as it is to actually sit down and read.

If you love Dolly or have someone in your life who does, I can’t recommend this book enough.

Making a designer inspired fall wreath for your front door is easier and cheaper than you think!

You’ll need:
Wire wreath form
Velvet pumpkins in two sizes
Bag of mini pinecones
Wired ribbon
Glue gun
Glue sticks
Floral wire

Use hot glue to attach the pumpkins in two rows. Glue mini pinecones in any bare spots between the pumpkins. Finish with a bow (I used two types of ribbon and fastened them together with floral wire and attached them to the wreath). Cut the ends of your ribbon at an angle and voila! A custom, designer-inspired fall wreath for a lot less than you’d pay in a boutique!
