I’ve been working on an order for Ladies Day at the North Jefferson Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of POWER and of LOVE and of a SOUND MIND.

These cute cutting boards are 7”x 10”.

I just spray sealed them in the parking lot and am waiting on them to dry.

102 pieces.

The machine cuts the boards, engraves the words. I paint the words POWER, LOVE and SOUND MIND in highlight colors and after the seal has cured I will add magnets.

Making kids kits for Saturdays Farmers Market in Mount Pleasant.

These are for ages 5-8. Cost $4.00 for the kit.

Kit includes the felt pieces, gems, twine, tape for hanging and step by step instructions.

You will need to supply the clear school glue.

This afternoon I made kits for Mt. Pleasant’s Second Saturday Farmers Market.

I trace off the pattern on my canvas with graphite paper. I forgot to video this part… sorry, I’ll make sure to do a video for Christmas.

The attached videos show the rest of the process.

I used the ad paper to make sure the acrylic paint doesn’t stain my counter top, my paint is the Hobby Lobby brand.

I pour the paint packets and seal with the mini heat sealer. I package them in a snack sized ziplock bag in case one tears so we don’t have paint all over the canvas and instructions.

I take the rest of the items and place them in the bag and then seal the bag and place the decorative paper to close the bag.

This takes about 25 minutes per kit. I created 14 kits today. That’s a little over 5 hours start to finish.

Owning a small Art and Crafts business, I am always working to make sure I have the best products for my customers to create and make memories.

Braydon and I were at the Mount Pleasant High School Tiger Fest Homecoming Pep Rally last Monday. As a former Tiger Band Member it was fun to watch a younger generation celebrate the same way we did back in the 80’s.
