Art & Frames will be closing for good. Our current hours have been reduced to 12 - 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Thank you for 50 years of amazing art and loyalty.
The building which has served us for over 50 years has been sold. The new owners are not retaining the tenants and the Art & Frames Unlimited units are slated first for repurposing.
With all the holidays and travel and Covid precautions, it has been difficult to coordinate with realtors and brokers to visit potential locations and start negotiations. We were hopeful in the new year that opportunities would open up. However, after months of unsuccessful searching, we have been unable to obtain a new location for the shop. With an official eviction notice on the horizon and continuing supply chain issues, we have made the difficult decision to close the shop for good. We do not have an official end date as of yet, but will update you when we have a firm date.
In light of our situation, we are no longer taking custom orders. We still have quite a selection of matboard and glass, and we have stock frames in pre-made sizes. On a case-by-case basis, we are willing to cut custom mats and do simple assembly jobs. We will no longer be taking any mounting, stretching, or oversized projects.
All of our remaining inventory will be liquidated. Everything is 30-50% off. We are selling sheets of matboard, full sticks of moulding length, and all of the remaining ready-made frames. Given the recent low traffic through the store, we have reduced our hours to 12-4 Tuesday through Saturday.
We are disappointed that we were unable to continue framing for our wonderful community, but it seems greater forces of will have dictated that this will not be the case. Thank you all for your patronage, friendship, and loyalty to small business. We will dearly miss you all.
